Vicente Rodriguez Obituary

Vicente Rodriguez was born on April 11th, 1974, in League City, TX. He was born to Audon Rodriguez and Marcela Tanguma Rodriguez.

Vicente graduated from Clear Creek High School, class of 1993.  Vicente participated in track and field, football, drama, and choir. Vicente and his sister Rebecca Rodriguez were two of a kind, they enjoyed going to the mall together, Astroworld, and definitely going to football games.

Later on in life, Vicente began his career with TDCJ in 1997 as a correctional officer, later on, he was promoted to Sergeant of Corrections at the CT Terrell Unit.

Vicente was a kind and loving person, who would always take the time to help family and friends. He was also a dedicated employee, who always went above and beyond his duties to ensure his duties were complete. Vicente was a faithful and dedicated employee of TDCJ for over 25 years.

Later in life he met and married his current wife, Nadis Rodriguez. They built a beautiful life together, and without a doubt loved each other to the very end. He and his wife enjoyed spending time together, as well as spending time with family and friends. Vicente had one nephew, Marcos Rodriguez, whom he called “KIDDO”. Vicente was a positive figure in his nephew’s life and enjoyed spending time with him. Vicente did not have any kids of his own, so his nephew Marcos was very special to him. Vicente had a heart of gold, and his kindness and memories will be forever in our hearts.

Vicente is preceded in death by his parents, Audon Rodriguez and Marcela Tanguma Rodriguez; Grandparents, Manuel Tanguma and Guadalupe Martinez Tanguma, and sister, Rebecca Rodriguez.

Vicente leaves loving memories in the hearts of his wife, Nadis Rodriguez; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Nikki Hawkins, Robert and Vernessa Anderson, nephew’s Marcos Rodriguez, Charles Hawkins, III, Tristen Anderson, Trevor Anderson, Chaden Hawkins, niece, Chalisa Hawkins, and several special cousin’s and friends.

Vicente will continue to be in our hearts and minds for his huge personality, kindness, and his undivided attention and love. He will truly be missed and will always be remembered as a man with a “HEART OF GOLD”.
